I am affraid that I might be missing some configuration steps when I added the extra network interface to the avamar server. Do anyone have a procedure how to add a new vcenter to Avamar AVE The Avamar is taking backup of an old vcenter and that is working. I need to add a new vcenter on a new network to the avamar server. That is my goal with this.

I solved this issue by adding a network card to the vcenter and placed it on the same subnet. Now I just need to find a method to resolve the name of the data domain box on the new subnet. It keeps resolving the old DD name and IP address.

There's even one that shouldn't be tested for, in particular the one in the subject line, because that's for vSphere.. So that distraction worked.. I have been thrown off by those same messages in the past too, until I knew how-to read them, it certainly is not your fault. From that we I can see that you have a VM that used to run on another host, was suspended and then resumed on the new host.

As the physical hardware on that new host is significantly different, the VM crashed when you tried to resume. Not sure if you still have that problem, but if you do, then choose "Power Off" from the menu for this VM instead of resume and you should be able to power on the VM without it crashing.
